Still got over half the film left currently, but this is...Better than I expected.

I'm assuming (given the prefix 'The') it's a sequel/reboot of the older Boogeyman films I haven't watched yet - but so far it's made itself out to be a good suburban house-horror film with a creature interestingly enough designed and (thank YOU) withheld from the camera long enough to maintain built suspense and intrigue.



I'll come back and let ya'll know if the ending turns out to be 🫏

Watched this again at my boyfriends request. It's been so long since I watched it the first time, seeing all of the concept design, worldbuilding and curated colour palette that went into this film was truly reinvigorating.



Definitely a testament to Tim Burtons creative vision.
